I got a new mobile phone! One that actually works as a phone, not just lets me send/receive the occasional SMS. His name is Soapy, because the review that helped me decide to buy him described him as fitting the hand like a bar of soap. And because literati named him and told me to buy him. *g*

Beling an utter fangirl, the first thing I did, once I figured how, was to use the integrated camera to take a photo of a screencap of the Spander kiss and it now graces my phone as wallpaper.

It is tiny! I was expecting a bigger bar of soap, but he's smaller and lighter than both of my previous phones. I'm kinda scared to put him in my handbag - I may never find him again. *g*

It looks amazingly tiny! Microscopic almost. And I can't see the Spander picture on screen at all. Where is it? :-)

He is weeeeeeeeeeeeny!

When I took the photos he hadn't even been on charge for five minutes so I hadn't turned him on to start playing. I'll take another photo later to show off my Spandery wallpaper. It's so cute! *g*

And yes, those badgers are sneaky critters. Can't trust them any farther than you can spit them. Whips, chairs, fire-retardant clothing - one can never be too careful. ::nods sagely::

Ok, I'll keep watching. :-) I am very pleased to have a wallpaper on my laptop that is one of the art pieces for Tabaqui's Changes, I think. Humm. I also think I need to use the laptop more often, since I can't remember for sure what is on screen for it. I haul it everywhere (in the car) I just don't get to use it.

You've spit badgers? Wow. How brave! I've only tossed, um, heaved, um, thrown them. And they don't go far, especially when they're holding on! ::nodding along:: More people should be aware of badger saftey!

I have no laptop (and would probably kill one if I did) but my desktop has a delicious wallpaper I made a while ago - I think it was for summer_of_spike. It's a huge shot of JM's face, in black and white, with his eyes a lovely (totally unrealistic) deep blue. *g* It's in my memories somewhere.

And yes, I'm a spitter not a swallower. damn things stick in your teeth, y'know? So many people are unaware of the dangers of your common badger. You can so easily lose an arm.

Is that b/w the one that says "Pure Spike" down in the lower right corner? I haven't looked to see who made it recently, but I have that one, set as my MSN background. It is b e a u t i f u l!

I have a lap top because the nice computer shop where I drag my computer way too often was willing to hang on to a second hand one for me a while back. And because I needed it to hang on to my own sanity while visiting people I'm related to, which I expect to have to do again this year, in due course. Sanity is really over rated, but the lap top made my life better. However, if you're ever in my neighborhood (more or less) and need to borrow it, I'd happily lend it for a while.

Lose an arm? Well, yeah. especially when you've got one stuck in your teeth! You'd think the badgers would come with a safty, but no. They just ship them as they come, and expect people to know how to handle them.

And the packaging on the badgers is really shoddy too. You have no idea how many get lost in transit...
