I just tweaked my layout again - put the original colour header in place of the greyscale one and highlighted with yellow. Comments, please? Does it look hideous, because I'm just useless at this stuff. How dare literati leave me to my own devices for two days over New Year! Doesn't she know how dangerous that is?

Strangely enough, yellow was not in the game plan. At all.

When a new layout was discussed, I threw out 'greyscale' and 'purple', but didn't get hit by inspiration. Weeks passed and then Literati tells me she's offline over New Year so I should MAKE THE DAMN HEADER!

I swear, what came out is completely untweaked. I didn't do anything to adjust colour balances at all. We tried for hours last night to bring the skin tones down into the layout but it just wouldn't work. In the end we went to greyscale for the layout and header, with purple highlights. But I like this better... for now.

Blue would have been good, but it just didn't happen. ;o)

I spoiled her rotten last week, writing a drabble in each of her pairings, my first non-Spander scribblings, as a thank you for bloodclaim's layout and she wants more!
