He could have gone for the cheek. No, that's the European way. Or maybe just gone straight for lip to lip. He could have been brutal. He could have been coarse. Did he know I wouldn't fight? He must have...

I think he knew that a bullet would've been much less cruel than this.

I feel sure he must have spent hours lying in bed, trying to sleep, turning it this way and that trying to make sense of why did he do it? what did it mean? Mulder's not the type to shrug and put something puzzling to one side and leave it alone.

There's a 'The Kiss' in my primary fandom too.It's not canon, but it's an outtake from the dailies, so I have physical, video evidence of Spike and Xander kissing. That's good enough for me. *g*
