Scully sighed and lifted the message pad again to reread her notes.

"He said, and I quote, 'Tell Skinner I'll be out of the office for the next three days, so don't try and get in touch. I'm off for a wild weekend of bondage and kinky outdoor sex, and I promise, when I get back, I'll be in a much better mood than I was. Oh, and don't go bothering Krycek. I've given him the time off too and he doesn't know where I am. Okay? Okay. Bye."

Skinner frowned.

"He's following up a lead."

"...Sir?"
