2.02: School Hard

"Come on, people! This isn't a spectator sport!"

Spike's minions charged forward.

Xander turned to run and Spike easily snatched him back, keeping a firm grip on his throat. Angel lunged towards the door but, at Spike's signal, was restrained by several eager minions.

Sensing someone behind him, Spike looked up and grinned.

"Fe-fi-fo-fum. I smell the blood of a nice, ripe..." he turned, "Slayer."

Buffy tightened her grip on the axe as her eyes flickered from Spike to Angel to Xander and back again. "Let them go."

Spike's grin widened.

"Oh no, luv. You have to choose."

Pause.

"Angel...?"




2.16: Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered

Drusilla knocked Angelus back into the tree, laughing gleefully when his head bounced solidly off the trunk. He dropped, soundless and insensate, to the ground.

"Don't fret, kitten." Graciously she helped a stunned Xander to his feet. "Mummy's here, and she's got great plans for you. The magic in the air tells me to love you and I do, but the stars have told me you're not mine to keep."

Not noticing his struggles or his protests Dru went on, leading him further from safety with every word.

"You'll be the perfect little brother for my Spike, Miss Edith said..."




4.10 Hush

Xander stood, clad only in boxers and a t-shirt, carefully checking the knots that attached a naked Spike to the tubular steel frame of his foldout bed.

"Don't see why I have to be tied up like this. Be much more fun if I could actually move a bit, it would. Angelus taught me some really dirty tricks, but I need leverage."

"Shut it, Spike. I'm sure I've got a gag around here somewhere. A souvenir from the summer I spent in Oxnard."

Spike's eyes lit up in anticipation.

"So what you waiting for, Pet, an invitation?"

"No, for Anya."




7.02: Beneath You

"Is there anyone here who hasn't slept together?"

The urge to turn and look was overwhelming, and Xander had never been any good at resisting temptation.

He turned.

So did Spike.

The matching actions failed to go un-noticed.

"Xander?" That was Nancy.

"Xander!" That was Anyanka.

"Spike?!" That was Buffy.

The accused's gazes held for a moment and then they shrugged, and turned to face the music.

"I'm thinking this would probably go much easier with alcohol."

Spike snorted.

"That's what got us into this mess in the first place, you stupid git."

"Didn't hear you complaining at the time."

Thanks! I choose to believe that Spike would rather keep Xander than Angel and that he whisked him off and kept him. I should probably put a 'safe' on the end of that sentence, but this is Spike... *g*

The first time they showed the episode on TV I missed it, but I caught it when they repeated the show and I was highly amused. But it took me another 6 months to actually 'discover' Spander. o.O

And of course Dru must have her Kitten, but only until she can give him to Spike cos Miss Edith said... ;)

Mmmm Lovely. Dru and her Dark Kitten is a fav of mine. I smirked when Buffy choose Angel (Spander!). And Spike tied to the bed - always a happy thought.

I love giving Dru her Kitten, so long as I know she's going to get bored quickly and pass him on to Spike. And Buffy? Well, I gave her the benefit of the doubt (in a weak editing moment) and added a '?' to 'Angel' so she could have been asking him for help or advice, but I also know that Spike's evil enough to insist on accepting her first answer - cos he wants to keep Xander. *g*

And who doesn't have a happy at the thought of Spike ties to a bed? :P

I just told werewindle above that I gave Buffy the benefit of the doubt (in a weak editing moment) and added a '?' to 'Angel' so she could have been asking him for help or advice. But only because I know that Spike's evil enough to insist on accepting her first answer - cos he wants to keep Xander.

So, Xander is safe(ish), and Buffy and Angel have to explain to Willow and Giles just how they managed to screw up and lose Xander. *g*

Hey! Okay, so Buffy chose Angel, and Dru caught Xander and turned him, and he got found out by his ex, the newly re-installed Vengeance Demon, and his almost-date, and his super-powered friend, but... he got to tie naked Spike to his bed!

All in all, I think he came out on top - in more ways than one. ;)

School Hard, I can just see the look on Xander's face when she said Angel. B, B, and B, with Dru leading a frightened but probably curious Xander to her beloved Spike. Hush had me right at the 'naked Spike' part (and drooling over my laptop, thank you very much, ~_^)

But it was that last one that made me laugh. And squeal. Because I SO wish that had happened.
