So, I was confessing to entrenous88 about my newest addiction - Batman/Flash (Bruce/Wally) fic (yes, cartoons, comics, I have gone animated, people, are you happy now, world?!) and she said maybe I should do that meme that was going around last month where you list your top ten pairings and let other people comment on what trends they see. So...

It was my first fic ever! I didn't know original from a hole in the ground, and I was expecting to laugh myself silly at someone trying to pair Spike up with Xander. I was so innocent and clueless back then. *g*

Twisted is a definite. Once I'd written them all out, I realised that about 7/10 of them are so completely fucked up.

As for OTPs, well, what can I say, I'm a one pairing per fandom kinda girl, and these are they. All of them. For the moment. But, given the way my rate of new fandom/pairing is accelerating, the number may well have doubled by Christmas. *g*

I've read a BatFlash fic that had a side of Dick/Tim (Tim was 16) but that's it. I have no knowledge of Nightwing, no idea who Roy is (though I feel like I should...?) and I'm afraid I one again OTPed on first contact, so Bruce and Wally won't be playing away with anyone else, thank you very much. There's just something in the Batman/Flash equation that curls my toes. :D

It has made me leave new McShep open in another tab while I continue searching for more BatFlash!

I need an icon. I looked through Ame's at IJ but nothing grabbed me by the throat. I may have to take my own caps and get Lit to work her magic. *g*

Roy is Red Arrow, previously called Arsenal and before that Speedy. He was trained by Green Arrow. OMG, I'm such a geek, haha.

I have to say, I'm rather taken with the idea of Nightwing/Flash (but when Bart was Flash last year because I think of Wally and Dick as being best of mates). Anyways, Nightwing, is the hottest of the hot. He is beautiful. I prefer not to slash him with Bruce because I like the father and son relationship they have in canon. It's complicated and dark, but fascinating. And look how gorgeous he is: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/images/h0/h1813.jpg Dick Grayson was the original Robin before Batman fired him for dividing his loyalties between him and the Teen Titans (of which Wally was also a member). So Dick, with some influence from Superman, became Nightwing. The original Titans got back together about six months ago, Dick, Wally, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy and someone else I can't immediately think of.

Oh I luffs Wally!!! I could now launch into a massive speech concerning my feelings post-Infinite Crisis, but I better not because I'm hard to stop once I start. Oh, if you're interested in reading that ever (big Wally in that one), I'm sure I have copies.

I do have a stack of Justice League of America comics if you want them, going back for about three years. Now, I do remember an issue where Flash picked Batman up like a girl and carried him. That was a goooooooood issue ...

I have managed to 'acquire' (2GB of) digital copies of various titles, including the most recent volume of JLA, from 2006 to the present day.

Also Formerly Known As The Justice League (2003-2004), JLA Classified 2005 (#4-#9), Justice (2005-2007), Justice League Elite (2004-2005), Justice Society of America (2007-2008) and a bunch of other JLA issues between 1997 and 2007.

(Obsession is such an ugly word... *g*)

Having said that, I know how I am about the printed page, so I am ungodly tempted to say yes to your offer and then snatch your hand off at the wrist. I'm sure, if you waved a copy or two under my nose while we're dining, I'll be helpless to say no. :D

Nightwing iiiiiiiiiiiiis rather a hottie, isn't he? I can't put him and Bruce together in my head either, for the same reason, and not only because Bruce belongs with Wally, honest. *g*

So... this Infinite Crisis of which you speak - I should know about this? It is pertinent to my interests? :P

I really don't know how I'm going to go about juggling all the various canons, but JLA (animated) is my primary source of Wally love and the 'A Better World' storyline sealed the BatFlash deal for me completely.

I've now read every bit of fic I can find... twice. I will be posting fic just as soon as I stabilise my vision of Batman. (And sitting here watching Tim Burton's Batman is really not helping. *g*)
