A Dru-some Lullaby

Hush little Xander, don't you fret
Spike says that you will be his only get

And if you think his word's not true
Spike's gonna beat you till you're black and blue

And if that beating makes you bleed
Spike will fetch you people upon which to feed

And if those people don't taste good
Spike will give you just a drop of Sire's blood

And if that Sire's blood makes you hard
Spike will fuck you senseless till your vision's marred

And if that sex doesn't make you trust
Spike will keep on trying till he turns to dust.

It was meant to be a Dru-centric drabble with just a couple of couplets of twisted lullaby, but the song took over and mutated and came out at 100 words. :D

And... It took me 43 minutes in total, but that was starting with an open Word doc and no clue about what to write. I googled lullabies and then spent about 10 minutes singing them to myself until I hit 'Hush Little Baby' and got the idea to have Dru singing to Xander. And then I ended up doing the whole lullaby instead of just tweaking a couple of couplets and writing a drabble around them. :D
