Thank you, whoever nominated me, and thereby bloodclaim, for this award. I'm sitting here all gob-smacked and giggly and trying not to bounce too hard cos this office chair is nearly five years old now and I never put it together properly in the first place. ;)

So, here's a clicky button (even though the vote isn't open yet) and I'm going to try and figure out how to put one on the journal page proper so it's there to be petted every time a page is opened. *g*

I'm the guilty party and it's all your fault because you posted kindkit's link to various award sites, because you've been writing such excellent fanfic and for getting inspired to create Bloodclaim where the best of Spander fanfiction is posted for us to enjoy. Thank you so much! I got very hyper when I received the SoGA email, and the fic I was working on was completely forgotten while I went to squee all over LJ. Eventually I calmed down enough to finish it, and next up, hopefully, is the next part of Grungefic. I have that in my sights for this weekend if Spike will just behave himself while on top of a naked Xander. ;)

I realize it's very hard to control a Spike on top of a naked Xander (it's all that vampiric strength and stubborness) but some more chapters of "Grungefic" (that's more not just one) would make a really nice thank you (hint, hint).

Oh Dearest Mod,

I have a question - I am starting weekly challenges over at my group windles_orbit and I wanted to know if I could anounce them at Bloodclaim? They're an open fandom challenges and I'd really like to see what some of the Spander writers could come up with.

Each week (on Wednesday) there'll be a differnt prompt - odd words, song/movie titles, objects, etc.
