leni_ba emailed me a couple of days ago to ask if I minded if she nominated the poem 'My Love' that was written for last week's open_on_sunday challenge 'Poetry'. Did I mind? I rather think I gushed all over the poor girl, and then promptly forgot about it until I got the official email. (Memory like a goldfish? What goldfish? I have a goldfish?)

I have been nominated at The Bedtime Story Awards for the 'Ode To Sleep' award for poetry.

When Leni emailed with her request, I sat here and grinned like a loon for about half an hour. Then I went and created a Poems webpage at my site so she could give them that link instead of a link to the LJ post. I think it's the only piece of Spander that's been nominated (so far). Our boys are under-represented! ;o)
