Title: Sympathy Pains
Pairing: Spike/Xander and Drusilla & Willow of Buffy
Rating: R
Disclaimer: Not mine, never will be. No harm, no foul, no money made.
Notes: Notes: The continuing past and future adventures of baby!vamp!Xander.
Pale Reflections
Demons don't feel things. Demons don't care. Demons don't experience things like love.
Had he really believed all that crap? Xander shook his head in disbelief.
If anything, since the recent acquisition of his demon, his feelings had become so much more powerful and rich. His love for Spike had no buts or boundaries, defining edges, anything he had to do to keep his Sire safe he'd do. And in return he knew that Spike would love him till the end of time - as Childe, as mate, as brother, friend and lover.
Human emotion - pale reflections of the demon kind.
Snuffing Out the Flame
"I see it, little witch, flickering inside your belly. A bile green flame of envy tinged with rotten orange vengeance. Even now - even as you promise to be good - it burns and dances, hungers to be fed, for shame, for true."
Dru dragged a pointed crimson nail across Willow's naked skin, marking the flame's location with an X of reddened welts. Willow whimpered and was still.
"You're full to overflowing with false piety and bitterness. Feelings roiling deep inside, like eels in the mud. Not to worry, I can make them stop."
Dru's fingers burrowed eagerly though pale white flesh…

on 2005-09-07 02:53 am (UTC)Your Dru is so perfect. I *love* how she is dealing with Willow.
And the first one, Xander's "enlightenment".
That's just sweet!
