'Convenience', two for
open_on_sunday challenge #126 - 24hr Convenience Stores
Aug. 24th, 2005 12:35 amAuthor: darkhavens
Title: Convenience
Pairing: Spike/Xander of Buffy
Rating: PG13
Disclaimer: Not mine, never will be. No harm, no foul, no money made.
Notes: The further (and previous) adventures of baby!vamp!Xander
Dessert
Xander was hungry. Xander was always hungry. They could finish off the better part of a football team between them, and five minutes later Xander would choose a pout and crank it up, look at him with those hurt-me eyes and ask if Spike had anything special planned for dessert.
Spike sighed in defeat and flipped the turn signal on, easing the car over towards the side of the road. It was four in the morning and only the most determined people were still around. The only lighted storefront on the strip lured them in.
"I'll keep the engine running."
Smorgasbord
They moved between university towns and college campuses, picking off the unwary, the unwanted and the just plain dumb. It was so damn easy to charm a brace of innocent co-eds into wedging open the fire doors of a dorm. A pout and a flash of puppy-eyes never failed to bag an invitation, and then after dark the vampire fun and games would begin.
Rush week was the perfect time to hit frat houses - cheaper versions of 24 hour convenience stores. All the snacks and booze a growing vampire could ever want, and a smorgasbord of ripe, over-confident, young men.

on 2005-08-24 06:36 pm (UTC)Lmao! That was just perfect, especially since it's rush week over here at my college. Now I can't see any of the frat guys walking by without having this urge to start giggling. Loved these!
