Senses Working Overtime

So different. So new. So... much.

Xander awoke to a whole new world. Scents and sounds and feelings he'd never dreamed of piled in on him, sending him into sensory overload in seconds. Each unneeded gasp layered new exotic flavours onto his feral panic, and only the solid presence of Sire kept him from fleeing.

A hand on his shoulder, pale flesh at his mouth, comfort in every touch. The soothing whisper in his ear came into focus.

"Drink from your Sire, Xan. Drink and accept your birthright as a new Aurelius Childe."

"So different..."

"Not really. You're still mine."




Dress You Up In My Love

Spike pawed through the narrow rail of clothing looking for something, anything, his new childe could wear on the hunt that wouldn't completely humiliate them both. There was nothing.

Every so often he paused at a particularly offensive item, and swiftly, gleefully, shredded the lurid fabric.

"Gotta be... Sure there was... Oh, gods no, not that!"

The rag pile at his feet covered his ankles before he was done, and he kicked his way to freedom with a growl.

"Tomorrow we go shopping, Xan, kit you out in style. Can't have a childe of mine in polyester. Or in orange!"




Real Wild Child

The sex was amazing now.

Not that it wasn't fantastic with a pulse, but now he had his demon it was like Spike had slipped his leash. Well, yeah, okay, he had, he'd fixed the chip and that was why... But still. Better. Changed. Totally different. So much hotter than before, now those silly human weaknesses were no more.

He didn't have to breathe now, and boy was that a plus! He loved to make Spike squeak and lose control. He'd known he liked a spanking, enjoyed a dash of spice, but violent sex? Nah, not so much.

"Harder, Spike!"

Thanks! I actually stole Spike's line in that drabble from another I'd done earlier on that focussed on the awakening. I couldn't have him saying two different things to his new childe in the same 'verse so I went back and copied it. (IIRC it's in the second set. Possibly the third.)

Orange featured quite heavily in Xander's wardrobe for some scary reason, and I just can't see Spike putting up with it once he had the chance to dig through Xander's closet and instill some sense of style in his boy. *g*
