A/N: The muse is not playing nice this evening. I had to wrest these meager offerings from tightly clenched claws.
The Rules
The rules are quite simple:
If you do wrong you are punished.
If you make a mistake you are taught a lesson.
If you do something by accident, you must make amends.
They have a toy box, a chest really, at the foot of the bed.
Slowly, whenever either of them have the urge to experiment, it is filling up.
It doesn't matter who breaks the rules; they both enjoy the consequences.
Sometimes they do it on purpose, just for fun.
Sometimes Spike can't believe how lucky he was to find out Xander's deepest darkest secret.

"Thirty-seven."

Spike waited, but Xander didn't continue.
"And what is it you're apologizing for exactly, Pet? What did you do to deserve this spanking?"
"Umm..."
"Maybe you need another forty to shake the memory out, eh?"
"No, Spike! I'm sorry, really sorry! I promise I'll never forget to tape Passions again."
"And?"
"I'll buy you that Timmy replica doll off eBay."
