I've been at LJ about a year, now, and today is the very first time I have ever seen it in its correct proportions. Every manip, every banner, every icon I have seen (and created!) has been viewed on this fubared monitor screen. Until today. ::pets new monitor::

Everything is so biiiiiiiiiiiig and... not squished. I'm so used to compensating for the squish that everything all looks all odd and stretched out now... ::boggles::

So, again... SHINY!

It's the first piece of new kit I've had since Mommie Dearest bought me my computer (very first one!), and I'm a nervous nellie, so actually twiddling with cables and screws and new software/hardware configs? Makes me need alcohol. And chocolate. *g*

When's yours due? This wasnt due unti tomorrow so I was stunned to see it waiting for me when I got up. The kind people in the shop downstairs signed for it so the deliveryman didn't come and wake me up. Isn't that sweet?

It's stunning! So much room! I have it set to a res of 1152x864 and I still have so much space to spread stuff out. I'm a constant multi-tasker, and it's great to have all my stuff open and still accessible. Wheeeeee! *g*

Congrats! I have a 17" which isn't bad, but it's soooo much better than a crappy little 13" lmao.
