I love these. My drabble doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense. It feels like it's in the middle of something serious going on. Yer gonna have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks...
***** He jumped as he felt a cool hand wrap around his neck and shove him against a wall. He felt a swift rush of jumbled emotions at seeing Spike glaring at him with harsh golden eyes. Cold sweat, fear of the monsters, and a twinge of wildly inappropriate, swiftly stifled, forever to be denied lust.
He knew the moment that Spike sensed that last bit there. He couldn’t help but tremble, whether in fear or lust he wasn’t sure, when his eyes shifted from pure demon to his natural human blue ringed with yellow. Spike loosened the grip on his neck and leaned forward, sniffing along the column of his throat.
The delicate licks here and there just made the confusion in his mind clear. He wanted him… now. He wouldn’t allow it though, he just couldn’t. Not after everything he’s been through over the years, he wouldn’t make the first move. He closed his eyes to shut out the image, instinctively turning his head away from the source of his internal pain.
That? Was a mistake. He barely had time to process the rumbling purr just before fangs scraped over his neck. He wasn’t sure now what to think. Spike answered his thought as he whispered a question in his ear, “There something you need to tell me, Pet?”
