Death of the Green Fairy

"It's like before but different. No pretty spectacles or curls and no heart's blood scratched into paper, tearing holes into your soul with every broken word. No growling Daddy picking up the broken doll to take him home to fix him up as good as new, or as bad. No heart's desire, no want this in the dark that smells of horses and of shit and shame and need."

Xander curled tighter within Spike's arms.

"I don't like the world without you, Spike, don't want it. Take it back?"

The bottle smashed against the wall.

"It's gone, love, all gone."

I just read the whole series! I'm tired (hehe it's really early) but I still loved it. Is it wrong that I find vamp!xan somewhat adorable-though VERY disturbing? Still, it's funny to see Xander almost as wacked out as Dru. I was snickering the whole time and was really interested when he became a seer.

Also, very interested to see what's going on with Conner. I've always been a slut for X/C/S fics and really, there's just not enough of them out there. Speaking of Conner, am I seeing an incesty attraction between Angel and Conner (well more of Angel towards Conner) or is my brain just short circuting from a lack of sleep?

Will be adding this to my memories, you can be sure of that!
Enjoyed it immenesely and waits patiently for the next installment.

That's exactly what I was going for! Writing him usually had me giggling before I hit the end of the drabble. :D

And you read the whole thing? I am impressed. I keep meaning to go through and organise them into some kind of chronological order, but there are so many of them that would fit in at various places on the timeline - it's quite a job! *g*

I'm trying to remember if I intentionally went to the incesty place of it if was just a part of the whole vampire possessiveness/family vibe, because we all know how Angelus got on (and got it on) with his vampire 'family', so it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility that those feelings extended to Connor too.

The 'verse has been on hiatus for quite a while, but I have been thinking of re-activating it, so there may indeed be more soon!
