Title: Tummy Troubles
Pairing: Spike/Xander, Dru, of Buffy
Rating: PG-13
Squicks/Warnings: Non-graphic mention of child consumption
Disclaimer: Not mine, never will be. No harm, no foul, no money made.
Summary: Baby!vamp!Xander is always thinking of his stomach.
Famine
"But… I'm starving!"
Spike turned a molten glare on his pouting, whiny childe, and hoped no-one was passing by the cargo hold.
"Xander, we're on this bloody ship for ten days. We can't exactly go snacking on everyone and their mate. Do you really think there's a soul left on this planet who hasn't seen at least one version of Bram Stoker's Dracula?"
"But…"
"Dammit, boy, it's only been six hours! Even you can't starve as quick as that, you daft git."
There was silence as the floor began to roll and pitch beneath their feet.
"Spike? I feel sick."
Feast
Dru took them out to eat on their first night in Mexico. She promised them a banquet fit for kings and she wasn't wrong.
The streets were lined with morsels of such appetising beauty, so rich and ripe, like berries, for the picking, and oh, so eager too.
They came in flocks, hungry little chicks without a mother goose, hands outstretched for pennies or perversions if the price was right.
The vampires picked the plumpest of the heaving, begging smorgasbord and lured them away with empty promises of meat and candy.
Next evening they were still too full to move.

on 2005-11-29 12:08 am (UTC)i love the imagery in the second one. if you've ever been to a place where you get swarmed like that... i could totally feel the press of those kids all around. and it's so true, that one could gorge oneself, and no one would notice, or care...
love it. want more as soon as possible. of course! *grins*
