Title: Seriously Committed
Pairing: Spike/Xander of Buffy
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: Not mine, never will be. No harm, no foul, no money made.
Notes: The further (and previous) adventures of baby!vamp!Xander.
Serious Loyalty
It started as a plan to prove him worthy of his Sire, a simple bit of payback for the one who'd hurt him most. But as time passed and names fell into place, the plan got serious; a simple one-house slaughter grew to cover towns in several states. Finally, the list was as complete as he could make it, and just in time to share it on a bloody, vengeful day.
Xander traced the names and addresses of Riley's family, and hoped that Spike would let him share the fun.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Sire. I have a gift for you."
Seriously Frustrated
Xander was seriously frustrated. Forty days and nights had gone by without a hint of sex, and Xander wanted Spike back in his bed, where he belonged. It didn't help to know that Spike was doing this for him. It didn't help to know he'd said 'okay' and let Spike go, obediently complying with Angelus' cruel demands. It really didn't help to know relief was close at hand. The box of toys beneath the bed called out his name, but he stood firm. He'd promised Spike he'd wait, and so he would.
Those final two days seemed to last forever.
Seriously Screwed
Forty-two long days passed and suddenly Spike was home. Anticipation froze them both in place.
Five seconds and they were on the floor, greetings left unspoken.
Five minutes and they were screaming as they came.
Five hours and they made it to the bedroom, bruised and bloody.
Five days and they finally stopped to eat.
Even then they couldn't bear to be that far apart, both drinking from the same torn open throat so they could touch and kiss.
Eyes and lips and tongues made silent, serious, sweet promises - they'd never be apart like that again by their own choice.

Even then they couldn't bear to be that far apart, both drinking from the same torn open throat so they could touch and kiss.
*doublesniff* That is the most beautiful, wonderful, touching murder I've ever read about. Seriously.
;) Love this!

on 2005-08-28 12:24 pm (UTC)yay to Riley killing (Ok I'm sick but I hate him and hence his family too heheheh)
yay to further filling in of the Spikeless period even though I felt sooo sorry for Xan. Just like him to wait totally though - but I suspect Spike didn't mean for him not to even give himself release...
and extra yay's with sqeeeeeing on top for the reunion! ohh lovely (I've given up on being disturbed about not being disturbed over psychotic rampaging in this 'verse cos it just is undeniably #right# for them)

on 2005-08-29 07:43 am (UTC)I love this set, and how little snippets tell a much more complicated story. The whole really does add up to more than the sum of all of its parts.

on 2005-09-05 02:09 am (UTC)LOL1 That's the way I look at it too. the first time I wrote real gore I was waiting for the stunned reactions and the 'OMG! Whhhy?!' comments, and they never came. Everyone loves the boys being themselves, even though those selves happen to be soulless demons with mad bloodlust and a romantic streak. I think it's the romantic streak that makes the gore acceptable. *g*
Thanks!
