48 Hours Later

"I want to go back to the basement one last time, Sire. I want to say goodbye to dear ol' Dad. I want to let him see his dead gay son rip out his heart. I want to introduce you to my Mom."

Spike growled softly, in absolute agreement, and petted his newly wicked love.

"Gonna let me kill her, luv, for all she didn't do? Break her into little tiny pieces if you want, I would."

"No. She stood and watched or sat and listened all my life. She can watch and listen and live with this as well."



Turn The Clock Back

"You turned your Mom?!"

"Oi! It seemed a good idea at the time, okay? I didn't have a clue what I was doing. She'd been there for me all my life, especially after Father died. She was sick and I just wanted to make her strong. I did. The point is, Xan, I messed it up; I tried to do too much too bloody soon."

"Oh. So...?"

"So... The answer's no, Luv. You'll not be turning Red before we leave. That little witch has power enough to terrify me already. Give the girl a demon and she'll decimate the world."



Mummy Knows

Mummy knows, she always knows. She watches Daddy watching her sweet boys and knows he wants to play. He wants to scoop her darkling kittens up and carry them off to bed, to bite, to claw, to feast, to fuck, to exercise dominion.

But Daddy's different now. The spell that brought him back and burned away that sickly, clinging soul left traces, tiny smears of need and hope.

So yes, Daddy wants to bite and claw, to feast and fuck and own. Daddy wants, but Mummy knows that, ever so much more, Daddy needs her boys to want him back.

This is why your drabbles are my faves - you say so much in 100 words. I loved the first one. So much meaning behind it, and you do write my fave Vamp!Xander. The last one with Dru was excellent, and, yeah, Xander'd want to turn Willow, and Spike would immediately see that it was *not* a great idea. :)

I really loved the phrasing in that. Very cool. And I especially liked the second drabble. I like that Spike could recognize that turning Willow would be a disaster. Also, I think she would try to come between Xander and Spike, and have to be staked, anyway.

Dru is so much fun to write. And Willow - even though Xander has already met vamp!Willow, he still doesn't realise how dangerous she would be. Silly baby!vamp. But Spike has seen magic vampire users before and knows better. :D
